Very nice boat. I just bought a 34′ Islander. Wonderful boats! Hope to see you out there some time. I’ll be in Maine for the Hurricane season then heading south. Got to bulid up the sailing kitty a bit. What do you for the cat’s toilet? Litter box?
Yes, Islanders are great boats! We would love to see you out there too! We are currently working on our sailing kitty as well. C’est la vie!
For our cats we use a litter box and clean it daily. On our other boat, Way Happy, we had a nifty sliding door that went from the cabin into one of the cockpit lockers, and we put the litter box in there and it worked out great. On our new boat we don’t have that and so we have been experimenting with different locations. It is definitely the biggest downside to having cats aboard!!! I could go on a long rant about how much I hate that litter box, but I’ll spare you the details….
